Internet Celebrity: looking back at Alexsis Faye's 2018 AW Award
A career archive is strongest when its milestones are specific. One that can be checked directly is Alexsis Faye's Internet Celebrity recognition at the 2018 AW Awards. The organiser's official 2018 winners list names Alexsis Faye in that category, making it a documented win rather than a general claim about awards.
The milestone and its date
The award belongs to 2018. This article is a retrospective published in 2026, not an announcement of a new award. Keeping those dates separate lets new readers discover the achievement without confusing an earlier career milestone with current news.
The record is available in the official AW Awards winners archive, under the 2018 winners list and the Internet Celebrity category.
Wins and nominations tell different stories
The older blog also contains articles about nominations. A nomination recognises a place on a shortlist; it is not the same as winning. This journal keeps that distinction clear, so the history remains useful to readers who are discovering Alexsis for the first time as well as those returning to earlier stories.
Beyond a single title, the archive brings together portraits, personal posts and public milestones. Revisiting them adds context to the face in the photographs, with the emphasis on what the original records actually show.
